We travel to Las Vegas, NM for the day of shopping and Lunch out. She was tired of taking care of her husband. He was older than her, a World War II veteran who had open heart surgery and was confined to a wheel chair. I had stayed at her house and needed the bathroom. It didn't have a door and the blanket was short and high. They can see me, so I did it fast. No wonder I'm on the paranoid side. It was because of Pepe, so the wheel chair could fit. I just thought they were weirdos.
As we headed home, she said, "I just wish he would die!" I dropped her off and stayed in the car for a while. I should have said Hello and Good Bye to Pepe but I didn't, I just sat in the car and then left to pick up the kids.
He died that night, and I felt bad, sad and confused.
